GRETCHEN ELLEN KOPP was always carrying crayons as a child. Her art supplies may have upgraded since then, but her love of drawing remains the same. Fueled by coffee and chocolate panda cookies, she fills her illustrations with quirky characters and playful imagination. She has illustrated The Boxcar Children Fully Illustrated Edition, Summer’s Call, Remembering Rosalind Franklin, and Our Friendly Farmhouse. Amid Michigan’s tall trees, she and her husband make a happy home.
